About Us
Who We Are
Whidbey Yard Cards is an independently owned and operated business located in Oak Harbor, WA serving Anacortes, Whidbey Island, Mt. Vernon, and Burlington with special event lawn greeting sign rentals for your special occasions. As of August 2022, Jake and Jaylynn Sybrant are spreading joy at your events as the new owners of Whidbey Yard Cards.
We saw the need for a party store and decided to make it happen! In Summer 2024 Whidbey Yard Cards partnered with Party Pops (yay for BALLOONS!!) to provide party supplies at Imagination Cove Children's Museum. Visit us at 230 SE Pioneer Way in Oak Harbor!

From welcoming home baby to celebrating your 110th birthday, and every occasion in between, we'll card your yard with a special greeting tailored to your needs. Yard cards are just what you need to add extra fun to your party, or to profess your love proudly on an anniversary!
Military Homecoming?
Being a military family owned and operated business we have a soft spot for homecomings! We have patriotic, and even branch specific yard cards ready for the BIG day! Even better, we have installation access allowing us to serve those living in base housing or FRGs that need signage displayed at the terminal or along the main base roadway. Welcome Home signs are a fantastic way to show your service member how much you've missed them and how happy you are that they've returned!
*Special note for those living in Hunt Communities*
Although we cannot stake our signs directly into the lawns per Hunt management due to irrigation protections in the resident lease, we have worked with Hunt to find a solution. We have custom built low profile bases to present our displays without driving them into the ground. We've got you covered!

Our installation and removal times are both inside and outside of our Customer Service office hours.
Normal hours for Yard Card installations and removals are between 10:00am - 1:00pm PT and between 5:00pm - 7:00pm PT. If you need an event installation done during a different time frame please contact us for availability.
School, Real Estate, and other special request installation and removal hours vary. Contact us for more info for these special events.
