Our Deluxe Yard Card displays are $80 plus tax for one daytime rental. Deluxe Yard Cards allow you to pick and choose from our inventory of various themes and flair pieces. The typical size of these Yard Cards displays are 12-16ft in length. Our Deluxe Yard Card displays include the following greetings:

We also offer "Welcome" Yard Card displays with one name for a daytime rental rate of $60 plus tax. Perfect for welcoming a friend or family member that has come to visit. They'll be sure to feel your excitement for their arrival when they are greeted by one of these colorful displays. With our "Welcome" greeting you can choose from any colors we have in our inventory, as well as choose from our inventory of flair items to personalize the greeting to your receiver's likes.
A per letter fee can be applied to accommodate any desired message that is greater than 22 characters in size. A second name can be added to Birthday messages for an additional $20.
Rentals can be extended up to two extra days for an additional fee of $25 per day. Last minute extensions may be denied if another reservation is already scheduled for the theme in use in your yard. The rental cost includes delivery, installation, removal, and all applicable city and state taxes.

Perfect for smaller yards, our Yard Card Mini displays are typically 8ft in length. These yard cards come in specific packages and cannot be customized. Our Yard Card Minis are made to be more compact in size due to the use of our colorful "Happy Birthday" printed signs. You can add one name to the Yard Card Mini option.

To reserve a Whidbey Yard Card you will need to submit an order form from our website. When filling out the order form, you'll be able to note the receiver's favorite colors, hobbies, sports, foods, drinks, and any likes they have that you would like incorporated into the Yard Card display. We at Whidbey Yard Cards then take that information and match it with items in our inventory that are available for the time of your rental reservation. To build the most personalized Yard Card possible for your special occasion, please note as many of the receiver's likes as possible. The more the merrier!
After submitting your form, you'll get an automated confirmation that we have received your order. Your order will be reviewed to verify the date you have requested is available. If your requested date is available, you will receive an invoice within 24 hours. Payment in full is required within 48 hours of invoicing to hold your reserved date. All reservations and selection of inventory is on a first come first served basis. The further in advance you place your order, the more likely to get the majority of items you desire in your display.
Installations typically occur the evening before the requested date, between the hours of 7:30pm and Midnight, and occasionally the morning of the event before 7:30am. Yard Card display removals occur during the same time frame as installations. Your exact installation and removal times will be based on the volume of installations and removals scheduled for the same date.
If your order is a gift to a household that is not your own, you MUST make sure to let the homeowners know we will be setting up in their yard.
Please note you are paying for a rental and not purchasing the signs.
Yes! Although we cannot stake our signs directly into the lawns per Hunt management due to irrigation protections in the resident lease, we have worked with Hunt to find a solution. We strive to make sure we can serve our military community, including those living in base housing, so we've built a custom low profile platform that holds the signs in place without driving them into the ground. Please let us know on your order form that you live in a military housing community. Please note that we need a flat level area for stand stability. A driveway or porch may also be used if yard is extremely sloped.
We are here to meet the needs of your occasion. If you need a display assembled while the kids are at school or the receiver is at work we will do our best to make it happen. Please make a note on the order form in the final section for additional instructions that you need a different installation time and we will work to accommodate it.
Our themed packages are in limited supply and rent on a first come first serve basis. Please place your order early to ensure availability. This is especially necessary during times of high demand, such as holidays, back to school, graduations, and deployment homecomings as supplies rent out quickly.
Unfortunately licensing for the use of trademarked items is not available at this time. However, we can certainly match color themes without issue, and may be able to obtain likenesses or silhouettes of characters if available through our print suppliers.
YES!! We work with schools and PTAs to spread cheer to their schools. Yard Cards are available at a 50% discount for on campus installations. Send us an email and we will send you information on our school greetings program. Our "First Day of School", "We Love Our Teachers", "Class Of 2021", "Senior Day", and other school/Athletic spirit messages bring great photo opportunities to the students and families of your school!
We are a rental only business. Purchasing is not available at this time.
We live on an island in Washington so weather can be unpredictable and may delay setups, or in the worst cases prevent us from setting up your display. Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, rain, snow, high winds (40+mph) and any other Act of God that would put us or our lawn display in harm's way. For our northern service area there is the possibility that we could be unable to reach you should there be an issue with Deception Pass. If the previously mention situations arise we will first attempt to reschedule, if that is not possible you will be given a full refund.
Once you submit your order we will confirm availability and send you an invoice within 24 hours. Invoices must be paid within 48 hours of receipt to hold your reservation date.
You are paying for rental of yard card signs. These displays are owned by Whidbey Yard Cards and not available for purchase.
If for any reason you need to cancel your order you must do so 7 days in advance to receive a full refund. If you cancel your rental 48 hours in advance you will receive a payment refund of 50% or may receive one full rental credit to use within 6 months of cancelled reservation. All rentals cancelled less than 48 hours in advance forfeit a refund but will be given one full rental credit to use within 6 months of cancelled reservation.
Our yard greetings are typically delivered after dark the night before your event through 7:30am the day of your event, depending on the amount of reserved greetings scheduled on the same date. The reason we install late in the evening on the night before your event, or early the morning of the reservation, is so that the Yard Card receiver will awaken to their greeting already set up to start their special day off cheerfully. Removal times vary based on seasonal sunsets, unless a time of removal has been previously agreed upon.
For school displays, we install early in the morning before school opens and remove displays later in the same day, after school has released.
Delivery, set up and take down service of the Yard Card greeting is included in the display rental price.
You sure can - with one stipulation. There must be at least one adult in the home we will be installing at that knows we are coming, and you must share our terms and conditions with them, as well as our pre and post installation instructions that will be emailed to you after your reservation is confirmed. We don't want to ruin any surprises, however it is extremely important that someone at the home knows that we are coming and what our policies are. Please note on the order form in the "Name of Recipient" section that the home we are delivering to is not your own residence.
We ask that you turn off your sprinklers and do not mow or trim while the greeting is displayed in your lawn. Please mow, trim and water the lawn before our scheduled arrival.
If you live in a neighborhood that has lawn service provided (such as military housing neighborhoods, and those with HOAs), you are responsible for making sure your yard card reservation does not fall on your lawn care day. If it falls on the day of your neighborhood's lawn care services please make us aware so that we can install signs after lawn services are completed. We also need to be aware if your reservation is the day before scheduled neighborhood lawn care will happen, so that we can retrieve signs the evening before to prevent damage to signage.
We will charge for any damaged signage that results from yard maintenance that occurs while Yard Card is installed.
Display pieces are water resistant and built for outdoors, however sprinklers create a problem in that their repetitive motion batters the signs. Therefore, we ask that you turn your sprinklers off the entire time the greeting display is on your property.
Just like yards, our Yard Cards vary in length and size. You can note where you would like your sign installed on the rental form, and we will do our best to accommodate that request. Ultimately, we will install your sign in the best suited area of your lawn for visibility based on the size of the display. Sometimes we will need to flow with the curves of your lawn, sometimes a straight but angled installation is best, and sometimes multi levels are needed for narrower yards. If your yard is too heavily sloped, a driveway or porch installation may need to occur. We will only install on the driveway if requested or absolutely necessary.
You are responsible for obtaining approval from any HOA or community housing management before installation occurs.
Refunds will not be given based on the following
-If homeowner or business requests signs be removed after installation.
-If wrong address is provided while booking.
-Any circumstances that prevent us from setting up the display that are out of our control (i.e neighborhood/personal property gates or installation gates closed, loose animals, or an unexpected inclement weather event that happens after installation that knocks over signage, etc.
-Criminal activity or carelessness that takes place after sign is installed.
Yard cards are fun in nature and meant to add to your occasion. We will not do any greetings that contain lewd, disrespectful language or that are not positive in nature.
